Two experienced designers and project managers show how to draw up a contract document including contract conditions, specifications and schedules of quantity to allow for tendering and project managing the construction of all aspects of a design including hard and soft landscape work. They will show how to manage the construction of garden projects in general including costing, programming, and managing on-site construction through examples of "real-life" projects. Participants will have a chance to draw up their own specifications and schedule of quantities for a design project and will get to place a competitive bid for execution of those works! Enjoy learning about the technical and organisational aspects of project management and gain the confidence to project manage the construction of your own designs.
